On Memorial Day, we are of course grateful to all those who have dedicated their lives to serving our country. The spirit of this day also gives us the ideal opportunity to press our reset button and kick-off the summer with a grateful mindset.
By developing the practice of looking for the good in all things, we shift our focus and wind up feeling happier and more grateful. You look for the positive; you get more positive! You look for the negative; you get more negative!
Each night this week when you put your head on the pillow, think of 3 things that you are grateful for. It can be anything – from a delicious meal, to appreciating a beautiful sunset, or even life itself – whatever you choose. There are no rules! Just look for what you can be grateful for. Reset and look for the good – you will find it!
