Tony Robbin’s said: “The quality of your life is directly related to how much uncertainty you can handle.”
This makes a lot of sense because- everything is uncertain. We don’t know what will happen in the next second, minute or hour.
Think about the way you handle uncertainty in your life. There is a direct correlation between the way you manage uncertainty, your anxiety level and overall wellbeing.
This week be aware of the way you handle “not knowing”. Practice being more open and accepting to what is…. by realizing that you can control what you can - and then let go of what you can’t!

I had the joy of watching my 20 month old granddaughter these past (almost) 2 weeks and one of the most wonderful things I noticed was the way she embodied presence.
Whatever she did- whether it was drawing, splashing water in the bath, or simply turning the pages of a book- she was totally absorbed.
She was not distracted, she didn’t multitask, and she wasn’t focused on what was next. She was just her and the moment, fully engaged!
It’s a kind of mindfulness that many adults spend years trying to relearn. We are so often in "go" mode and pressuring ourselves with an agenda.
This week- become more conscious of when you are rushing and living mindlessly. STOP- slow down and be more PRESENT!!!!!

I recently went to one of my favorite yoga studios (@JalaYoga) and my teacher Lauren was giving us poses to do and add ons to the poses. It could have been confusing.
However, being the wise and thoughtful teacher she is, she said “take it in pieces”.
Suddenly I thought … just like in life -when we feel overwhelmed …..we should just STOP and “take it in pieces”.

Helen Keller said: “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched- they must be felt with the heart.”
Have you ever felt that warm joyous feeling in your heart where it almost (and sometimes does) bring tears to your eyes?
We often think that the next shiny object will make us happy – (maybe temporarily it does), however, the genuine heart felt, positive emotions come from experiencing love, connection, kindness, and or a sense of belonging.
This week be proactive in producing this feeling as much as possible. Work on creating the connection, notice and share kindness with others. Appreciate whenever you have that comfortable feeling of belonging. Positive emotions are beneficial for cardiovascular health. Go ahead- take care of your heart!!!!

We are all on our own unique journey and we all have a past.
Rather than view any of it as negative- what if we become grateful and consider that it has offered us experience and knowledge.
What if we actually came to respect our past and the darker moments that we have come through? They have given us strength and resilience that we may not have known we have (even the tiniest bit).
I remember reading in one of Louise Hay’s books many years ago when I was feeling sad- “You are exactly where you are supposed to be right now”. Those words gave me a feeling of peace.
Try taking that on- the past was part of your journey….. “You are exactly where you are supposed to be right now.”

There is no reason in this world you should ever be anything but yourself!
Unfortunately, we often try to be the way we think we ”should” be, perhaps to feel accepted or to please others.
Practice being YOU!
Think about what’s really important to you. Are you living your life in a way that supports your values and what really matters to YOU?
This week- pay attention to your choices. Are they helping you be more, or less you?
The more you “be” who you are, the happier YOU will be!
(If you are interested in learning more about living aligned with your values- let me know!) ❌⭕️

We all feel tense and agitated at times. It’s part of being human. However, we need to know when to stop what we are doing and take a moment to reset.
Breathe deeply. Find someplace or something to look at that is soothing and calming. Something that shifts your thoughts and the negative energy that is consuming you.
This week notice when agitation is creeping up on you- take a moment and RESET!

We need to be more like children.
I was watching my 19-month-old granddaughter walking through the park the other day. She was saying hi and delighting in the joy of the flowers.
She was so appreciative of her newfound skill of walking. She was not thinking about what happened on her way to the park or what she was going to do after. She was right there feeling her feelings of joy.
We could all use a little more presence and joy.
This week find a time to consciously think like a child. Delight in the wonder of beauty around! Notice how freeing and light you feel!

Change is inevitable. Just as the world changes around us so do the circumstances and situations in our lives. Change is the way nature and the universe lead us to our next adventure and lesson.
That may sound a bit woo -woo but think about it. Everything that happens offers us an opportunity to learn something. Just as the earth is in constant motion and change, so are we!
Don’t fight it. Sometimes change happens so quickly and other times it happens more slowly. Practice trusting and allowing change to happen!

People with a strong spiritual core tend to view good things that happen to them as blessings, whereas those that don’t, see them more as deserved or perhaps just lucky.
How do you view the good things that happen to you? Do you stop to acknowledge and appreciate them?
How do you view the challenges or difficulties in your life? Do you see them as being your fault or bad luck?
Or……..do you see them (eventually) as opportunities to learn and grow from?
This week, start becoming more aware of what you say to yourself in the up and down moments in your life. Don’t judge yourself! The beauty is that you can choose how you interpret these events. Becoming aware is the first step toward any kind of change!

When we did finally speak it was truly as if no time had passed. She still had the same beautiful positive energy that she had then! Sometimes that happens – we lose touch with important people in our lives, but it’s always worth a try (if your gut tells you to) to try again.
It’s wonderful to make new friends of course, but it can also be wonderful to restore a past relationship. There was a reason we connected in the first place!
The number one predictor of happiness is having good relationships.
Research has found that people that have strong social connections are better at coping with stress and adversity and have an increased sense of belonging and purpose, lower blood pressure, and improved brain function.
This week- go ahead reach out to someone that you have lost touch with- maybe you can connect again!

If you can view the universe as a support system, you're acknowledging that you're a part of something much bigger than yourself.
This can offer a sense of trust, knowing that you're not alone in facing challenges. It may sound strange but instead of relying solely on your own strength or resources, you can draw on the idea that there's a broader flow of energy, wisdom, and guidance available to help navigate through life's obstacles.
It's almost like surrendering control and trusting in the process, while still actively participating in your journey.
We often take the power of the universe for granted and focus on what’s not “working”. This week notice when things kind of just “fall into place”. Maybe think or say: “Thank you universe”!
