LISTENING A DIFFERENT WAY
Listening with love is a very different kind of listening.
It’s the kind of listening where you aren’t planning your reply, fixing, judging, or rushing someone along. It’s listening with your whole presence — soft eyes, open heart, and genuine curiosity.
Listening with love says: “You matter. Your words matter. Your feelings matter. I’m here with you.”
When we listen this way, conversations deepen, walls come down, and people feel truly seen and heard. It’s one of the simplest and most powerful gifts we can offer — and it costs nothing but our attention.
This week choose one conversation a day to slow down. Take a breath before responding, focus on the person’s eyes or voice, and aim only to understand — not to fix. Just listen with love.

UNPLUG AND RECHARGE
Just like your phone, Wi-Fi, laptop, or television, everything runs better after a quick reset. When technology freezes or lags, we unplug it, restart it, and suddenly it works the way it's supposed to. A simple reboot brings things back into alignment.
We're no different. Sometimes all we need is a walk outside, a deep breath, a tech-free hour or a quiet morning moment. These small pauses recharge us in ways we often overlook.
This week, make sure to unplug. Reset. Come back clearer, calmer, and more YOU!

THE POWER OF REFLECTING
I had the true pleasure of leading a Recipe for Real Happiness workshop this week.
Even though I’ve led many workshops before, I always approach each one with fresh energy, deep intention, and a desire to give my very best.
The weeks leading up to the program were a gift in themselves — immersing in the words I teach reminded me just how powerful they are.
Words matter.
What we think.
What we say.
What we do.
Each choice, each word, each thought shapes the way we experience our lives — and creates the ingredients for real happiness. 💛
This week be more aware of how your words, thoughts, and actions affect your mood and experience!!!!

COME HOME TO YOURSELF
Life can feel like a whirlwind — full of to-do’s, noise, and constant motion. When we move too fast, we can lose touch with what truly matters: the quiet center within us that keeps us steady and at peace.
This week, take a moment to ask yourself: How can I be more grounded in my life?
What activities, people, or places help me feel calm, centered, and present?
How can I ground myself this morning — right now!
Maybe it’s a deep breath before you check your phone. A walk outside. A conversation with someone who sees you for who you are.
Or simply sitting still with gratitude for this very moment.
When we ground ourselves, we return home — to our body, our breath, and our truth.
Let this week be about coming home to yourself. ❤️

JOY
This past week has been incredibly special.
We welcomed my second granddaughter, Noa Joy, into this world. 💕
Gratitude is one of my daily practices, and this week it has never felt more real. Holding little Noa reminds me of what truly matters — love, family, and the simple, sacred moments that take our breath away.
This week, while you may not be welcoming a child or grandchild, take a moment to pause and truly feel grateful — for a sunrise, a smile, a connection, or even a quiet moment of peace.
Life’s truest gifts can’t be bought or planned.
They are the moments that touch your heart and remind you that right now is enough. 🌸

PEACE
Everyone sees the world through their own lens.
When we remember that, we begin to understand that while we're all the same at our core - human - each of us experiences life differently because of our unique stories, perspectives, and even our genetics.
Recognizing this truth opens the door to greater compassion, empathy, and tolerance.
* This week, try to look through someone else's lens.
You might discover more
compassion, deeper understanding, and a little more peace.

A SECRET TO WELLBEING
Being present keeps us grounded, and having something to look forward to keeps us inspired. We need both! Presence to enjoy what is, and anticipation to look forward to what’s coming.
This week take a few mindful breaths during the day. Notice what feels good in the moment- a warm coffee, sunshine, a kind word.
Create something to look forward to. Plan a small joy- a walk with a friend, a cozy night in, a weekend adventure, or even a new goal!
Balance both: When you catch yourself wishing time away, pause. Enjoy the moment and smile at the thought of what’s to come.

SOLITUDE
Solitude isn’t loneliness — it’s sacred space.
When you step away from the noise, you finally begin to notice your own voice, your own wisdom, and your own heart speaking. Giving yourself the chance to be heard by you is one of the deepest expressions of self-love.
This week, give yourself that gift. Carve out—even just a little—time to step away from the noise and be intentionally alone. Listen to your thoughts. Be curious. Be kind. Leave judgment behind.
Say loving, positive things to yourself. And little by little, you just might discover you’re becoming your own best friend. 💕

IT IS WHAT IT IS
"It is what it is" isn't about giving up, it's about letting go of resistance. When you stop fighting reality, you free up your energy for what you can influence. It's not passive resignation, but active acceptance.
This week notice when you have a situation in which you could say to yourself: "This moment is what it is." Then you can make the choice of - “Now, how do I want to respond, if at all?” It may just offer you a sense of peace, a feeling of relief.

RECONNECT TO WHAT MATTERS
We're more connected than ever — yet loneliness is rising. Why? We often chase connection through screens — likes, comments, endless scrolling. But real connection isn’t found online. It’s found in presence.
A deep conversation. Eye contact that says: “I see you.”
Laughing together, a heartfelt hug, a moment of stillness.
This week, choose one simple action: Call (instead of text) someone you care about. Put your phone away at dinner. Sit quietly with yourself for 10 minutes.
Connection isn’t about being constantly online. It’s about showing up — for yourself and for others. The world doesn’t need more scrolling. It needs more soulful connection.

MENTAL HEALTH & KINDNESS
The world has faced unimaginable pain – 9/11, COVID, Oct. 7, gun violence, natural disasters, and more. We wish we could have prevented all of it. That sense of powerlessness is real.
But here’s what is in our control:
We can’t change everything “out there.” But we can strengthen what’s “in here” - our ❤️. And together, those small choices matter.
This week, commit to one thing that will either strengthen your mind or your body!!! One step at a time!!!

BOUNDARIES
Boundaries don’t have to be walls. They’re not about pushing people away or being cold.
They’re about clarity. You can absolutely set boundaries with love, kindness, and warmth.
For example: "I really care about you, and I also need some alone time tonight to rest. Let’s catch up tomorrow?”
You’re not shutting people out — you’re being honest about your capacity.
Healthy boundaries improve relationships — create trust, safety, and mutual respect.
Start practicing right away. This week, strengthen your boundary muscle (with love); the more you use it, the easier it will be!!!!
