The Power Within You

Holidays can be difficult for many reasons, but if we take the time to prepare for what’s ahead, we can strengthen our gratitude practice and actually enjoy the celebrations more. 

Make this year different. You are in control. If you’ve been reading these #motivationalmonday posts, you know you have the power to live with love, practice mindfulness, show gratitude, and be open to learning.

This week, before Thanksgiving day arrives, take time to breathe and think about the upcoming occasions. Envision yourself feeling calm at gatherings with family and friends. Picture yourself being present in the moment during conversations. Imagine enjoying the sites, sounds, tastes and smells of the holidays.

Preparing yourself mentally and physically can allow you to replace anxiety with heartfelt joy. You have the power to make this the best holiday season yet!
