Lend a Helping Hand
Volunteering to help others doesn’t just make the world a better place; it also makes you better. Studies indicate that the very act of helping others can boost your happiness, health, and give you a sense of purpose and satisfaction.
Do something for someone else and start to feel the benefits. Start small. If you are a good organizer, help someone get organized. If you are good listener, visit someone who could use the company. If you’re a good cook, make a meal for someone in need.
