What Are You Afraid Of?

Experiencing fear is inevitable, and at times, even necessary. It’s how we handle it that makes all the difference.

When fear paralyzes you and you feel stuck, acknowledge it. Ask yourself, “What am I afraid of? What is the worst thing that could happen?”

How realistic is your fear? Is it justified, or an irrational form of self-protection from rejection or failure? Have faith and know that you CAN conquer it.

If you dread public speaking, start contributing your thoughts in small groups to get more comfortable. If you feel panic in crowds, practice breathing and calming techniques to get you through. Nobody knows when you're experiencing fear, but you!

This week, become more aware of when fear stops you. Acknowledge it and practice techniques to help you work through it! You will feel courageous and empowered!
