Feeling Funky? It's Temporary.
It’s easy to get into a funk this time of year. The holidays are over and for many, it’s back to work, time to pay post-season bills and face our New Year resolutions.
It is normal to experience feeling down at times. It's important to accept your feelings whether you’re lacking motivation, feeling insecure, experiencing loneliness or facing any other sad emotion.
Research shows that these emotions are fleeting and the best antidote is to KNOW that while very real, they will NOT last. Ruminate in a positive way, reminding yourself that "this is temporary".
It is a choice we make everyday, throughout the day. When your negative, inner voice creeps up and you feel down, remember, it is just TEMPORARY!
